Gerard is very passionate about fitness, exercise, nutrition, health and wellbeing. When not training, coaching or teaching, he regularly participates in Spinning® events both at domestic and at international level. Gerard is constantly educating himself on exercise science with a keen emphasis on exercise physiology, biomechanics and applied kinesiology.
Gerard is a Star 2 Spinning® Instructor, a Level 3 Advanced Mat Pilates Teacher, and a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Advanced Fitness Instructor. Gerard's classes are very much centred around the mind-body connection principle and he incorporates Yoga, Pilates, breathing and mediation techniques - you can call his classes : 'Meditation in Motion'.
